GE Requirementsvary from College to College – please make sure your Four-Year Plan is accurate. You need a minimum of 12 Upper Division (UD) courses for a letter grade – we encourage you to take more.o 5 of these are PSYC Core Courses o 7 of these are Upper Division PSYC Electives Psychology 199 is recommended but not required. Psychology 199 is not an upper-division course towardsthe major, but may fulfill upper division unit requirements for individual colleges. PSYC 195 (Instructional Assistance) can be credited once towards an UD PSYC elective. You need atleast a 2.0 major GPA for graduation. (Major GPA is made up of the 12 UD courses)
