War as the last resource of diplomacy
First of all we have to define the term diplomacy as the art and practice of conducting negotiations between representatives of groups or states. It usuallyrefers to international diplomacy, the conduct of international relations through the intercession of professional diplomats with regard to issues of peace-making, trade, war, economics, culture,environment and human rights. In an informal or social sense, diplomacy is the employment of tact to gain strategic advantage or to find mutually acceptable solutions to a common challenge, one set of toolsbeing the phrasing of statements in a non-confrontational or polite manner.
A diplomatic mission is a group of people from one state or an international inter-governmental organization (such as theUnited Nations) present in another state to represent the sending state/organization in the receiving state. In practice, a diplomatic mission usually denotes the permanent mission, namely the officeof a country's diplomatic representatives in the capital city of another country.
A permanent diplomatic mission is typically known as an embassy, and the person in charge of the mission is known asan ambassador
