Xcelsius 2008 Installation Guide Overview

Overview
Xcelsius bridges the gap between data analysis and visual presentations, empowering users tocreate interactive reports and applications. Xcelsius is intuitive enough for beginners and versatile enough for advanced users. It allows users to create reports without having to learn programming languages. With Xcelsius, pointing and clicking the mouse can create rich interactive presentations. Xcelsius integrates with Microsoft Corporation's Office products. This integration lets you attach yourreports to Microsoft Outlook email messages or embed them into PowerPoint slides and Word documents. Xcelsius also integrates with Adobe Acrobat. This integration allows you to embed your reports in Adobe PDF files. Xcelsius can be installed to interact with Live Office and BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Server. The purpose of this chapter is to guide you through the installationpath that you must follow for various deployment scenarios. It also provides detailed information about installing Xcelsius 2008.
