Typical food of turkey

Thegastronomy of Turkey is the set of culinary customs of the inhabitants of the regions of Turkey. The cuisine of Turkey is well known at present and seems to have influenced others in the use of gourmet spices, barbecued meats, etc... Is known for its bridge between the kitchen features Persian, Arab, Middle Eastern cuisines and Indian cuisine, and you can tell who is in a prominent position amongthe cuisines of Mediterranean origin because no geogrfica only the position of the country, but has in common with other gourmet and a predominance of the use of vegetables and olive oil as an ingredient in most of their dishes.

The typicaldrink is tea or chai, the traditional being the black, also taking variations of Apple, Orange, lemon, etc. A drink also delicious and rich in calcium is the Ayran, which is a drink based on sour Yoghurt, accompanied by a kebap delicious resutando. The typical alcoholic beverage is Raki, drink based on anise with a very high percentage of alcohol. The raki is taken with water to lighten the flavor abit. Turka beer is Efes Pilsen, with a smooth and rich taste.

Several species of Golden, (lüfer) sea bass, red mullet, and other Mediterranean species swim in its waters. Withoutforgetting the hamsi (a kind of boquerón) fishing in the Black Sea, and is one of the dishes more appreciated by the Turks. In the region of the Black Sea, said that even make hamsi jam... On the other hand, there are important centres of aquaculture, both marine and freshwater, which produce sergeants and Golden trout.
