PURPOSE:
This document explains how to reconfigure the Outlook settings in your computer after your mailbox gets migrated to the new Intertek (Exchange 2010) Email Servers.You will not need to complete this procedure if you only use OWA. This procedure only applies if Outlook had already been setup in your computer prior to the migration. If you need to setup Outlook ina new computer for the first time, please contact your local IT Support Team to obtain the Outlook Profile Setup Wizard.
PROCESS STEPS:
1. Close all running applications – especially Outlook -before you proceed. 2. Download and Run the Automated Configuration Utility from the following location: http://mail.intertek.com/executables/intertekoutlookprofileupdater.exe 3. Enter your Email logincredentials, then click the Go button.
NOTE: The configuration utility will check the system to confirm that your mailbox has finished migrating and will issue an error message (...mailbox notfound) if your mailbox is still not migrated. If you get this error, simply wait about 15 minutes and try again later. 4. If there are no errors, the utility will complete the reconfiguration in less than2 seconds. 5. If you have Outlook2007 or Outlook2010, a security window will appear asking permissions to configure the new server settings. Check the box “Don’t ask me about this website again” andthen click the Allow button.
6. Once the update is finished; you will receive the message “Your Outlook profile has been updated”. Click on the X to close the window.
