1) a. The story is about a woman that has just given birth to her fourth baby: the firt three died and she was worried about losing the last one. The doctor triesto calm her down, telling her that the baby was sane and helthfull. The baby's name is Adolf Hitler.
b. The main character's name is Klara, and she is the baby's mother. She is married withAlois, a drunkard and arrogant man. She is a woman that lived a hard life and that's way she is very overwhelmed trought the story.
Alois is her husband, and he didn't try to calm her down, infact he told her that Adolf was even smaller and weaker that the other three, making her feel worse. Alois was an alcoholic and overbearing person.
Another important character is the doctor, whois the one that tried to reassure her, telling her that the baby was a strong healthy boy. He heard her story, and tried to make her feel better.
c. This story is probably set on the begginingof the XIIX century, when Adolf Hitler is born, and takes place in Braunaud, Austria.
d. The amosphere was very tense, bacause of the worried woman and the story of her life. In fact, theamosphere is tighten because of the realtionship between the woman and her husband, that was very tense.
e. The themes of the story are: sadness, worryness, birth, death, relationships, life....
