Part I: Trace Manager software installation
1. Insert the software CD into CD-ROM and double-click the CD-ROM in My Computer; 2. There are two folders, double-click to open "FOR CHINESE" folder; 3.Double-click to open "Trace Manager V-.-" folder; 4. Double-click "Trace Manager CH_V-.-.exe" to run setup; 5. Simply click "Next" button on the dialogue window to finish Trace Manager installation.Part II: USB driver installation
1. Insert the software CD into CD-ROM; 2. Connect OTDR to computer with USB cable; 3. Press "On/Off" button on the keypad to turn on OTDR. Scenario 1："Found NewHardware" message appears (1). The "Found New Hardware" message appears at the bottom right corner, see Fig.1;

Fig. 2 (3).Select "No, not this time" and click "Next" button;

Fig. 3 (4). In Fig. 3, select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)", click "Next"; or

select "Install the software automatically(Recommended)";

Fig. 4 (5). In Fig. 4, select the path of driver, click "Next";

Fig. 5 (6). In Fig. 5, click "Finish" to close the wizard; (7).The message "Found New Hardware" appears in thetask tray. This completes driver installation, see Fig. 6.

Fig. 6 Scenario 2："Found New Hardware" message doesn’t appear (1). Right click "My Computer" on the desktop, select "Properties", click"Hardware" label, click "Device Manager", see Fig. 7. Right click the computer logo in the left upper corner and run "Scan for hardware changes";

Fig. 7 (2). When scan finishes, in the Device Managerlist will appear "Other device"/"USB Device" with a yellow question mark, see Fig. 8;

Fig. 8 (3). Right click "? USB device", select "Update Driver", see Fig. 9;

Fig. 9 (4). "Hardware updatewizard" dialogue window appears, then follow the steps (3) ~ (7) in Scenario 1; (5). "OTDR USB" appears in Device Manager, see Fig. 10. OTDR is now ready for data transfer.
