Halloween or night of witches is a holiday celebrated mainly in the U.S., northern Mexico, and some provinces of Canada on the night of October 31. It originated in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday of All Saints' Day.
The day is often associated with the orange and black. The typical activities include the famous Halloween trick ortreating and costume parties, besides bonfires, visiting haunted houses, jokes, reading scary stories and watching horror movies.
Halloween has its origins in a Celtic festival known as Samhain, which derives from Old Irish and means end of summer.
In the Samhain was celebrated the end of the harvest season in the Celtic culture
in 1840 the festival comes to America, where it is deeply rooted.Irish immigrants passed versions of the tradition.
It was they who spread the custom of carving a giant pumpkin hollow candle inside.

Other Latin American countries like Argentina, understand Halloween as a festival feature of Anglo-Saxonworld, and give no importance to date.
Originally Trick or Treat was a popular legend of Celtic origin whereby not only the spirits of the dead were free to roam the earth on Halloween night, but all kinds of entities from all the spiritual realms. Among them was a terribly malevolent wandering through towns and villages, going from house to house asking for just "trick or treat." Legend says it wasbetter to treatment, regardless of the cost that it would therefore not agree with this spirit (to be known as Jack O'Lantern, known in the traditional Halloween pumpkins) he would use its powers to” trick" that would be cursing the house and its inhabitants, giving them all sorts of misfortune and curses as the family sick, kill the livestock pests or to burn the house itself. To protect theidea of creating horrendous forms of pumpkins, so as to avoid running the spectrum.
