“Hamlet” by William Shakespeare

“Hamlet” is the most representative play of William Shakespeare. It shows in a way the glory and madness that characterizes human nature. Throughout this play theauthor shows dramatic effects some of them can be consider as real and others can be placed in the illusion way creating confusion to the reader.
One way in which real events are shown in this playis that there is not a magic world of perfect live. It is clear that the theme that highlights in “Hamlet” is pain, suffering and love which are completely connected to reality. In this play as well asin his other plays the most powerful weapon used by Shakespeare are the feelings and that's why all his plays can be compared as real life. In Hamlet the author represents moral aspects in allcharacters; these aspects can be positive or negative. Some examples of moral aspect are:
* Hamlet, in itself embodies the greatest contradiction as having a dual nature; he urges revenge andreflection that embarrasses.
* Claudio is ambitious and greedy, as it has been able to kill his own brother to claim the throne and Gertrude.
* Ophelia, she loves Hamlet deeply. Represents the trueand pure love, gentleness and kindness, and is a pure woman. Her madness is just a madness of love.
As we see “Hamlet” is a tragedy full of tension. This is seen along of the entire story with acts ofpessimism and melancholy developed practically in all characters.
Otherwise, one of the events presents in the play that belong to illusion, is in the moment when Hamlet sees the shadow of hisfather represented as a spirit, who gives the order of avenge his death. It is the event that marked the play and allowed the development of the story.
We can see that confusion was created because at theend of the play we never knew if Hamlet was really crazy or if he was just acting.
It is important to mention that in some of the main parts of the story is difficult to recognize between fiction...
