We form the negative of “to be” by placing not after forms’ verb.
Nosotros formamos la forma negative del verbo “to be” por colocar “not“ despues de las formas del verbo.
I am a student. Yo soy un estudiante
I am not a student. Yo nosoy un estudiante
We form questions with to be by placing the forms’ verb before the subject.
Nosotros formamos la forma interrogative con “to be” por colocar la forma del verbo antes del sujeto.
She is absent from class today. Ella esta ausente de clases hoy.
Is she absent from class today? Está ella ausente de clases hoy?...
