Hard rock (reseña)

El Hard rock (traducido como rock duro) es un género musical derivado del rock and roll y del blues rock.
Origen
El garage rock, rock & roll, blues, el rock psicodélico y el country son las raíces del hard rock, pero desde diferentes puntos de vista, eliminando elementos, y añadiendo otros que diferencian a los diferentes subgéneros.
La mayoría propone que tiene sus raíces más cercanas en elblues rock de los años 60. Las bandas a las cuales se atribuye la gestación del género son: Queen,Black Sabbath, Deep Purple y Led Zeppelin durante los años 60 fueron los primeros ejemplos de dicho género. Luego, a mediados de los 70, bandas como: AC/DC, Kiss, Scorpions,Thin Lizzy, UFO, Rainbow, Whitesnake y Aerosmith terminaron de moldear al género en su totalidad.
La primera era de Hard rocksurgió durante los 70, Led Zeppelin y Deep Purple alcanzarían su consolidación y otras bandas como ACDC, Aerosmith y Kiss lograron gran exito. En 1980 la muerte de de John Bonham causa la disolución de Led Zeppelin, ese mismo año moriría el vocalista de AC/DC, Bon Scott.
La decada de los 80 fue la época de mayor éxito comercial del Hard Rock. en 1980 la banda ACDC, el disco Back in Black con BrianJohnson como vocalista, el disco es el segundo mas vendido en la historia de la música. Esta década fue dominada principalmente por el Glam Metal, bandas como Poison, Bon Jovi y Europe lograron gran exito comercial en gran parte gracias a la alta promoción dada por MTV y las radios hacia estas bandas. En 1987, Guns N' Roses lanza Appetite for Destruction, disco que vendió mas de 20 millones decopias en todo el mundo.
La llegada de los 90 marcaría el fin de la época Glam Metal, principalmente porque la televisión y las radios dirigieron su atención hacia un nuevo movimiento, el Grunge, con bandas como Nirvana.
