Having a family business is oneof the most difficult challenges that I have to face in my entire life, but at the same time is the best because I can develop my skills on something that is for my own. I am going to start mentionwith a little explanation about how my family starts with our business and then talking about some of the advantages and disadvantages of having a family business.

My father was a poor child; helived in a small town in the highlands and with his dad he used to make and sell candies. He was the oldest in his family so he had to work hard since he was a little child that is why I think hedeveloped his skill as a trader. He left his town at the age of 17. He started working as a teacher in a small town in the coast and rented a room in another town near the other one, he met my mother thereand that is the way of how everything began.

I have always thought that my father and my mother are the best in business as a couple, my daddy is a risk man he loves to take risks all the time but mymother is so patient and cautious. They started with a small school my mom has loved teaching all her life and my dad too so they have been successful with that; after a few years they built the highschool and nowadays our school and high school is the most important in my town.

My family has increased in different kind of business. In 2007 we ran an Internet Service Provider in our town oneof the firsts. This business has been quite difficult to have because we cannot see too much profits immediately, we have to keep invest money all the time, but we are working hard every day. Also wehave a Travel Agency; we started this one a year ago with some strategy partners. We have a yacht where people can spent a marvelous time there in a small cruise.
