One of big problems nowadays are health problems, so I know that government does its part in this area, but it’s not enough, I know too that we need to improve it, because rich people can payfor it, for best technologies, best medicament and the best equipment too, but the poor people can’t do it, because of that, we need to work hard for this.
Some hospital haven’t medicament, therearen’t enough nurse and doctors like Francisco Moscoso Puello’s Hospital in National District of Dominican Republic and some of them, the Doctors do not receive their salaries, then, they give badpublic service.
Some diseases are critical and our country must have special Medical Center for these diseases like Cancer, Diabetes or HIV, with international help now we finish building a new center tohelp people with cancer “National Institute of Cancer Rosa Emilia Taveras” in Correa y Cidron Avenue near to UASD University, like this we need more for help poor people.
In “Los Rios” we have “TheDiabetes Hospital” this hospital is specialist in people who has diabetes, there are a lot of Endocrinology Doctors and they have all technological equipment and medicaments that patients need.
Thegovernment has the responsibility to ensure the citizen health, to improve medical assistance, to teach early about how the citizen can care their health, to develop new programs by teaching abouthealth in school, what to do and what not to do for some diseases. In temporary diseases like “Dengue fever or Cholera” how they can keep the hygiene at home and in the common places like school andwork, what the family must do it to keep out this diseases.
Another component of this topic is the food, the fast food causes many sickness, at this time the most of our food are fast food, we need tomake efforts to eat healthy food, like fish, cereal and light meat, all foods that not contain saturated fat. Learning how to eat healthy food is a new style to life.
