Paleolithic: ( 500,000-10,000 BFE)
-Human evolved from ape-like creatures into Homo Sapiens.
-Palaios =Old and Lithos = Stone, thence it becomes “Old Stone”.
-One of their major developments was that the human had learned to control the fire, wild animals.
-Living conditionsin Paleolithic Age werehard and the nature was cruel: They lived in caves or occupy the rock and wood shelters.
-They tended to stay in large groups and had to share their food with other family members.
Mesolitic:(11,000-9,000 BFE)
-Mesos = Middle and lithos = Stone. “ Middle Stone Age”.
-This age is a period of transition from Old Stone Age to New Stone Age.
-When climatic conditions started to change humansand animals started to adapt themselves to new environmental conditions.
-animals were lighter and faster, which made humans improve their hunting tool or weapon.
-Domestication of dogs
-Morehunting tools made out of bones and wood.
-Ornamentation
-The main development was the animal domestication
Neolithic: (8,000 – 5,500 BFE)
-Neos = New and Lithos = Stone “New Stone Age”
-Twoimportant events caused this change: Cultivation of plants and Domestication of animals
-The beginning of agriculture activities
-Humans started to leave their caves or shelters to stay close from theirfarms so they could keep an eye on their crops or farms
-They started to build houses near their farms
