The protagonist is Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and stingy person who does not celebrate Christmas party because of his lonely life and workaholism. Do not care about others, not even his devotedemployee Bob Cratchit, only imports itself.

One day, at home, Scrooge is visited by a mysterious spirit who happens to be her best friend and partner, Jacob Marley, who died at the beginning of thestory and then announces a gloomy prophecy about the future of the miser and the arrival of the three spirits of Christmas. Scrooge is not afraid and defies prediction.

Eventually the three spiritsappear Christmas: the Past, which makes Scrooge remind children and young life full of melancholy and longing before his addiction to work, and for his inordinate desire to get rich.

The Present ofthe miser does see the current situation of the family of his employee Bob Cratchit, who despite their poverty and illness of his son Tim, celebrates Christmas.

Then the Spirit shows how all peoplecelebrate Christmas, even Scrooge's nephew, Fred, celebrates Christmas in an ironic way but happy (because guests do not want the presence of the miser). In the end the spirit shows a pair of childrentragically human origin: the ignorance and want, then the spirit disappears immediately at midnight.

The Spirit of the Future, silent and somber, shows the most heartbreaking thing: the fate ofmisers: his house was ransacked by the poor, sober remembrance of his friends in the stock market, the death of Tim Cratchit and most terrible: his own grave, to which Scrooge is horrified and tries tofinally convince the spirit that is willing to change if it reverses the destination. In the end, the miser wakes from his nightmare and becomes a generous and kind man.

Changing lives it himselfwhen Scrooge finally celebrates Christmas, a young man makes you buy the turkey and send it to your employee Cratchit without disclosing who sent him. Then goes outside to greet people with a Merry...
