Hillary DianeRodham was born at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago, Illinois on October 26, 1947. Raised in a family belonging to the Methodist Union, first in Chicago, and then three years old, in Park Ridge,Illinois. His father, Hugh Ellsworth Rodham, was the son of English and Welsh immigrants, who had a small but successful business in the textile industry. His mother, Dorothy Emma Howell, of English descent,Scottish, French and Welsh, was a housewife. She had two younger brothers Hugh and Tony.
Hillary Rodham attracted national attention in 1969 when he was the first student to deliver a graduationspeech, which was very controversial at Wellesley College. He began his career as a lawyer after graduating from Yale Law School in 1973 and in 1975 she married the future president. On two occasionsappeared as one of the hundred most influential lawyers in the United States and important work for Rose Law Firm.
