Cover Sheet for Assessment Submission
Please read these instructions on the electronic submission of assessment:
1. You must complete all sections of this cover sheet and insert it into all submitted written work. An incomplete cover sheet may result in the delayed return of your assignment or of your mark for the assignment. Please keep a copy of all assignmentsbefore submitting them for assessment.
2. Fill out all sections below.
3. Insert the completed cover sheet into the front page of your assessment (i.e. ‘Select All’ then Copy and Paste this page into your assignment).

Your submission should be saved (with this cover sheet at the front) as a Microsoft Word Document (.doc or.docx) or in Rich Text Format (.rtf).
All parts of your submission (including this cover sheet) must be saved as ONE individual file to be uploaded.
PDF files which have been created by scanning a printed copy of your assignment will not be accepted.
5. Save your assessment using your real name in the filename (e.g. johnsmith-essay.doc).
6. Make sure your student number isincluded in your document (i.e. in the header or footer).
7. Submit your assessment through Blackboard by 5.00 pm (Melbourne time) on the day your assessment is due. Go to the ‘Assessment’ tab on your subject homepage for details on submitting your assessment.
8. Once you have uploaded your assessment you will be shown a preview to ensure you have selected the correct document and that thecover sheet is properly inserted. The preview does not display formatting, but the formatting of your submission remains intact. When you approve the preview your online submission will be complete and you will see a receipt number which will also be emailed to you.
9. If you do not receive a receipt number or if you have any questions about these procedures, contact the Melbourne LawMasters office before the deadline on 03 8344 6190or by email onlaw-masters@unimelb.edu.au.
