General characteristics of the structuralist school

The bureaucratic theory had its origin in theorganizational needs of order and precision, as well as in the demand of an impartial treatment to the workers. The development of model is based on a series of norms that regulate the behavior of the members of the organization, conferring to them that way a high level of security from prediction of the awaited behaviors. These norms, previously established, include all the areas of organizationanticipating the facts and handling a defined scheme. The rules and norms regulate the conduct of person in charge of each position, whereas the actions and procedures are made to provide verification and documentation, assuring the interpretation the communications.
