Summary
This is a story about about an old man. When he was growing up, this man had a decent family. His parents were hard working people, but they didn’t make enough money and werealways in debt. There wasn’t that much money for toys or any of those sweet things you want as a kid. When he was a teenager he didn’t really work hard so he didn’t get any good grades. All he did wasspend his time watching Star Trek and reading books about space. He really enjoyed space and he would have loved to become an astronomer, but he figured that wouldn’t give him any money so he went touniversity majoring in business. He soon dropped out because he wasn’t focused, he didn’t find his courses interesting and he got easily distracted with stuff about space. Anyways, he got a job in aMcDonald’s and married this sweet girl, who wasn’t fancy or rich, but had a heart of gold. He grew old in that McDonald’s and all he would care about is reading comic books about space. He wasparticularily interested in wormholes and their powers to turn back time. He daydreamed about turning back time; he was so confident that he could change his whole life if only he could go back in time. Oneday, obsessed with opening a wormhole, he took his wife’s college savings for their kids and went to the hardware store and bought a bunch of stuff he remembered to have seen in Terminator 3 to make aparticle accelerator. Day in and day out he would spend time in the garage working on his machine. He lied to his wife about taking her money, and he would sleep in the garage. This lasted for about...
