The most important place of Aswan is the temple of File, in a island.Other important places are: Unfinished Obelisk of Aswan, Nubia Museum, Muslim Cemetery, Fir Gardens, Greco-Roman Sarcophagus and unfinished colossus.

On the other bank of the river include these:Aga Khan Mausoleum, Tomb of Princess, Monastery of San Simón

You must vist the Elephantine Island, Aswan Museum, Nilometer, Temple Knum
Another important place is the Valley of the Kings or theQueens, on the west bank of the Nile Here lie almost all the pharaohs and their wives. The most visited is that of Tutankhamun.

Also visit the pyramids of Giza (10 km from Cairo) and the EgyptianMuseum. Besides visiting the pyramids of Sakkara, is much less saturated than those of Giza and, moreover, is in a rural and more authentic, where the first graves existing stand. The Step Pyramid ofSakkara is a part of funeral of Zoser, the pharaoh of the Third Dynasty.

You must see the Citadel of Saladin, a medieval walled complex, which is now just monumental. In all, the best is the Mosqueof Mehmet Ali, in alabaster. The Citadel is an excellent viewpoint over the city and the minaret protruding everywhere.

In Cairo you can visit the Khan el Khalili market, the more tourism, butalso the most colorful and enjoyable.
