Our king is ill, because of this plague. He feels tire, but he can’t sleep and he has got fever and pains. He feels giddy and he talks widly, he says: “I can flylike a plane”. He has got buboes with spots in his groin, neck and armpits and purple blotches appearunder his skin.
A doctor saw him yesterday and he said“…these illness can be cause by the breath, anger of God, the Jews by poisoning the water, the bad winds from India and China, the punishments from God, because of yoursins, by the infected air, because of the filthy conditions in these city, so you have to waitonly to days more, because the infected people only live from 4 to 7days.”
After reading this we all are waiting to know what happens to him.
I ask to the doctor the following questions:
▪ How many people have died?“About 25.000.000 people have died, because of this plague.”
▪ What are people saying or doing to get away?
“Really, I don’t know what are they doing toget away, but I know that the catholics think that the Jews are poisoning the water and that a major cause in the anger of God and the punishmentfrom God, becauseof human sins.”

























▪ What do you think migth happen to the land if most people died?
“I think that the landwill become like a desert, and that we will need to start all again, from the begining.”
▪ How might survivors benefit?
“Survivors might benefit by being happythatt they are steal aleave.”
