How would i like to see this area in ten years from now?

I have been living in this area for almost all my life and I would like to see this area to

grow different ways for the reason that all the community form Houston and

Galveston area love to see the future of their kids to the best. Therefore if we

want this area to be the way we dream it, people have to put a lot effortfrom

their side, for example the community can start for being more clean at their

properties by cleaning the street, keeping the yard cut and clean, not throwing

trash outside of your window when driving, being volunteer on cleaning groups

and like this we can be cleaning the green parts of the I-45 and the roads with

high traffic. These are little examples of how we can gatherand start working on

a better and clean future of Houston/Galveston area and at the same time the

government or the city can save money on keeping the areas clean and invest it

on some other details as transportation.

Transportation, who does not like a good system of transportation? Well

transportation is excellent on many ways but the most important is that it keeps

thearea always in good shape by providing cheap and effective moving system

from different points of the area and we have to keep in mind that a big

percentage of the community will be using it for the reason that gas prices are

touching the sky. Community will need to move fast, easy and cheap so why not

to create more routes of the bus shuttle that will make stops on the mostimportant spots that are situated between Houston/Galveston.

Metro rail lines from Houston downtown to Galveston is the second idea.

Metro sounds even better especially because it will move faster by not being

interrupted by traffic.

This system will make drastically big changes to the area for the reason that it

offers what we are looking for, plus Metro rail is electricityefficient and it

produces three times less pollution than vehicles, for example Metro rail on main

street emits just 0.312 pounds of carbon dioxide per passenger mile, while the

Metro buses emit 0.536 pounds per passenger mile and the average vehicle

does 0.964 pounds per passenger mile. So why not to create a line that will run

from Houston Downtown to Galveston, it will be the mostefficient way of

transportation but we can not forget the people who like to transport on bicycle,

this does not means that they will be transporting from one city to another but it

will be nice to have special roads for all the cyclists to ride and if look at it from

the other side this roads will enhance people to use their bicycles that way they

can have better health.According to the British medical association, Steady

cycling burns approximately 300 calories per hour and cycling 20 miles a week

reduces coronary heart disease by 50%, so we can have a healthier way of

transportation.

Housing is something that we would like to see for the government to improve

for this whole area for the reason people with low-income can have a better

futureand quality of life. Usually communities have problems because of the

percentage of negative people that live there. Therefore we should exhort the

government to do a deeper background check because people provide false

information and end up getting the benefit, afterward this group start being a

negative solution that can create crime or bring delinquents to our community.

Thefuture that we would like to see for everyone is engaged with security and

security will protect this area from negative environment and this is something

that community is always depending on, because without security there is no

good future for any area, no peace of mind for citizens and without I all of our

dreams and effort will collapse. Therefore the community has to work...
