Hitler vs. Perón

Adolf Hitler and Juan Domingo Peron were two different people that live in two completely different parts of the world, but they shared little special characteristic both of them were the leaders of a totalitarian dictatorship. The years were this two dictators made their reigns were different, actually their times almost match or have a weird coincidence. Hitler lost thewar and his position as the Fuehrer in 1945 when he killed himself and in that year Peron was in the middle of his rise to power. But leaving the dates behind, both of them use coercion and indoctrination to keep their population under control, although the rise to power and coercion methods were a little different , both of the dictators obtained what they were looking for , absolute control overthe masses.

Both dictators had a very… unique ideology which they transmitted to the masses of their country making it easier to control their minds. Hitler main ideology was based on Aryanism, the ideology that consist of felling superior due their “race” in this case the “German race”( they use the stereotype of this blond , blue eyed colored German would be the perfect German ). With thisideology in mind the German people begin to hate the minorities that didn’t fit with their German race. Germany also adopted other the ideology to base their economies in basically war so they could achieve autarky by exploding the conquer countries resources. Peron´s ideology was not even close to this type of ideology. Peron´s ideology was nationalist but not even close to Aryanism, in factPeron´s ideology was more oriented to communist ideals. Peron agree with the Marxist idea of the fight of classes , but he wanted to eliminate this social war. Surprisingly for Peron , lots of people agreed with this type of ideology , but who wouldn’t . This ideology basically said that they would keep everybody happy no matter their interests. We can see that these ideologies were totally different.Peron just wanted to keep everyone happy , while Hitler wanted to prepare everyone for war. [ (Bardo, 2011) ]

The rise to the power of both dictators were really different, with Hitler it all began when he help found the Nazi party in 1923 , although during the next elections the Nazi´s didn’t get a lot of support . Hitler managed to use his talking in public abilities to become the leader ofthe Nazi Party . There he got the brilliant idea of trying to take power by force, this was the Beer Hall Putsh of 1923 (a march demanding power with force , actually he was copying Mussolini´s march of Rome in 1922), that didn’t go well and Hitler ended up in jail. After he came out of jail, the Stressman era and the Weimar Republic began to decline due the Great Depression of 1929 , people werebeginning to lose their faith in the government and star to go the radical parties. During the depression the Nazi party began to gain a lot of power, the Government saw Hitler as someone that could control people and someone they could control so they named him Chancellor (big mistake), the Reichstag was burned down in 1933 and the communist were blame , so with this excuse in the same yearHitler used the enabling act in July prohibiting all the other political parties expect for his and putting the entire country in state of emergency taking away individual rights for an indefinite time , with this he had a total win of power, but he needed the support of every social sector , so he did the night of the long knives taking out all the radical politicians, his plan worked and he had thesupport of every class. And in 1934 President Hidemburg decides to die and Hitler names himself as president and the dictatorship begins. With Peron it all started in 1943 when he and a group of military gave a coup d´ etat , which was known as the revolution of the 43.
