Interests and hobbies can be anything a person likes to do in his spare time. Most people have outside interests which they pursue in their free time in order to keep themselves amused. We call these hobbies. Some hobbyists watch birds, hunt animals, climb mountains, ski, skate, swim and so on. Other hobbyists prefer to spend their leisure hours at home pursuing an indoor hobby such as attendingconcerts and painting pictures. People take up hobbies because these activities offer enjoyment, friendship, knowledge, and relaxation. Hobbies can help a person’s mental and physical health. People today have more time than ever before for hobbies.
