Over the course of this year election Mitt Romney and Barak Obama have both made it clear they both think they’re better for the country, But in my opinion, Mr. Obama is the better choice forpresident for many reasons, Firstly, I strongly agree with Mr. Obama’s views on gay marriage, abortion, and women’s rights. Secondly, Mr. Obama has reached many of his important promised goals. Lastly, thepresident made the Obama care policy and plans to start it in January of 2013.
“At a certain point, I’ve just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that Ithink same-sex couples should be able to get married,” Mr. Obama said. On live television or noble President stated that instead of ‘unions’ he wants gay people to have the right to be married. While hisopponent, Mr. Romney, does not want to legalize gay marriage because it is not traditional. Also, I do not in any way agree with what Mitt Romney wants to do to planned parenthood, Romney has pledgedto overturn the 1973 Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade also goes with his promise to stop funding to Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the country. On the other had thepresident believes that women have a right as to what happens to their bodies and it’s their choice.
During his time in office president Obama has done so many things everyone should appreciate, such askilling America’s number one enemy, Osama Bin Laden, The mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. Mr. Obama has also ended the war in Iraq and troops are coming home to once again be reunited with theirloved ones. The President also singed a repeal on the “Don’t ask, Don’t tell” policy. Also, he made a new Afghan War policy that limits aerial bombing and prioritizes aid, development of infrastructure,diplomacy, and good government practices by Afghans, and much more!
