Perhaps you know a little bit about Katy Perry, so, I’m going to tell you about her life and her musical career.
Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson wasborn in October 25th in 1984 on Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A. She plays piano and guitar, her tone of voice is contralto. Her parents, Keithand Mary, are evangelical pastors so early in life she was incorporated into her parents' ministry.
Since she was a little girl Katy was in a stage,being part of a choir on the church, dancing different styles of music or just having shows at diverse countries.
Katy has got 3 albums: “KatyHudson”(2001) which wasn’t very successful; “One of the Boys”(2008) that took 3 songs, «I Kissed a Girl», «Hot n’ Cold» and «Waking Up in Vegas», tothe Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100; and “Teenage Dream”(2010) leading 7 songs, «California Gurls», «Teenage Dream», «Fireworks», «E.T. », «Last FridayNight (T.G.I.F.) », «The One that Got Away» and «Part of Me» to the Top 10 of Billboard Hot 100.
She just recorder her first movie: “Katy Perry:Part of Me”, which is a biography; here she shows all her life and how she succeeded it, but also shows us the obstacles she had to passed. InChile will be seen on theaters on August 23, 2012.
She has been nominated for 300 awards, but only has won 103, some of those awards are 8 People'sChoice Awards, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 2 Teen Choice Awards, 2 MTV Europe Music Awards, BRIT Awards, 1 American Music Award, among other prizes.
