People spend more time with technology than they spend time with their own families. Technology helps us in our daily activities. However, some teenagers overuse technology. Some stay on the computerlonger than needed. Others may talk on the telephone for long periods. While we might not be fully aware of it, technology greatly impacts our daily life. When teens use it to block out the normalevents of daily life, technology becomes a negative influence upon them.
Technology is the present world. It affects people’s daily lives. Whether it inspires somebody to be the master at videogames ormakes somebody a computer hacker. It has changed the generation of teenagers rapidly. It has made the generation more greedy, ignorant, and lazy.
For example, 30 years ago the teenagers don’t haveall this technological implements and they have the same or even more fun than today’s teenagers. A day now, it’s all about getting an iPod touch or a phone with a touch screen. Teenager’s lives noware staying all day at home playing video games instead of going out and have some fun with their friends.
Teens are becoming addicted to technology, making them isolated from the real world. Teensmostly communicate through texting, online chatting or facebook. Teens have stopped picking up the phone to call a friend or family member. A very big percentage of the teenagers have a cell phone.Everything that teenagers do can be done electronically and there is no need to human interaction anymore. Technology is hurting society without anyone knowing. 
Teens argue that cell phones are a quickeasy way to contact family and friends. However teens are becoming addicted to their phones. Teens are constantly receiving messages and texting back whether it is at a family dinner, a movie or inclass, teens are texting during class distracting them from the teacher’s explanation.
