PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: “MY FIRST JOB”

Thesis statement
When I finished my studies in computer science at the University, I decided to find a part time job which I could have time to makemy thesis and a professional test to get my degree. I was interested in teaching in high school. A friend who had studied with me at college was working in a professional practice in CECC highschool, and he asked me if I would like teaching at the same school. I feel as if my dreams come true, I was so glad; I liked the idea, so I would be a computer teacher in high school.
Obstacles,
problemsImmediately, I went to talk with Mr. Carlos Haces Landa who was the principal at the high school “Cristòbal Colòn”. I’m not afraid to talk with people when there is something important to say evenif this person is unfriendly. I remember that at the beginning the principal’s secretary told me:- “He told me that he’s very busy, he doesn’t have time to interview you, come tomorrow”. And when Iwent the next day, she told me the same:_- “He told me that until on Monday he’ll see you, and don’t forget to bring your curriculum”.

Finally, I got an appointment with him, whoconfessed me that he didn`t want to hire me because I was very young and the age difference with students and me was very short. I explained to him even though I was young I was quite responsible too.And If he would give me the opportunity to show him I would be able to be a good computer teacher, and, so was. It’s because I worked there for ten years until my last daughter was born.
conclusionThat was a good experience. I confess that at the beginning I was friendly with the students and I smiled a lot, but later I understood that in your first day of class, you must be serious. I mustseem as If I were very serious.
