John Wayne was an American film actor, director and producer. He symbolized masculinity and became an enduring American icon. In the film he is a rancher called TomDoniphon and he’s the man who truly kills Liberty Valance.

VERA MILES
Vera Miles was born in America and became popular for his protagonist roll in “Psycho”. She is Doniphon’s girlfriend at first but theshe falls in love with Stoddard.
LEE MARVIN
Lee Marvin was an American actor. Normally he was the baddy of the story. He plays Liberty Valance, the gang of the village.









PLOTThe old U.S. Senator Stoddard and his wife arrive by train in the small town of Shinbone, to attend the funeral of an apparent nobody in the Western United States of America. At this point of the filmthey remind what happened some years ago in the village.
A gang called Liberty Valance has all the citizens under panic. Doniphon is the only local prepared to challenge Valance.
In Shinbone, localresidents hold a meeting to elect two delegates to attend a convention on statehood. Valance tries to bully the townspeople into electing him as a delegate. Eventually, Stoddard and a publisher aresuccessful. Valance badly kills the publisher. Noticing that Valance is out of control, Stoddard accepts a challenge to a gun duel despite his complete lack of skills. Stoddard kills Valance with oneshot to the surprise of everyone. Hallie, Doniphon’s girlfriend, is very upset and breaks up with him.
Sensing that he has lost Hallie's affections, Doniphon gets drunk in the saloon and drives out...
