AccuLevel™ SD30 Gypsum Underlayment for Corrugated Steel Deck Construction

Note to Architect: The following are specifications for AccuLevel™ SD30 covering atypical installation. For special conditions and other types of applications please consult with your local AccuCrete® Representative.

Part 1: General

1.1 Scope
Specify to meetproject requirements.


1.2 Qualifications
All materials, unless otherwise indicated, shall be manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum Plasterworks, LLC (ACGP) and shall be installed inaccordance with its current printed procedures by a licensed AccuCrete® Installer.


1.3 Delivery/Storage
All materials shall be delivered in their original unopened packages andstored in an enclosed shelter providing protection from damage and exposure to the elements. Damaged or deteriorated materials shall be removed from the project.


1.4 Conditions
Theinterior of the building must be enclosed, protected from sun and wind, and a minimum temperature of 50˚F must be maintained during the installation and for a period of seventy-two (72) hours after theinstallation of AccuLevel™ SD30.


Part 2: Materials

2.1 Products


A. Hydraulic Cement: AccuLevel™ SD30


B. Primer: Use manufacturer approved primer forgalvanized steel.


C. Water: Potable water, free of contaminants.


D. Sand: Washed mason or concrete sands that meet the minimum AccuCrete®/AccuLevel® gradation criteria.E. Sealer: When required, use an approved AccuCrete® Sealer over newly poured AccuLevel® SD30 (refer to AccuLevel™ SD30 product data sheet for specific details and Approved Sealerdocumentation)


2.2 Mixing:
Add 3.0 to 4.0 gallons of water and 0.80 to 1.40 ft3 sand (depending on desired mix design and compressive strength) per 80lb. bag of AccuLevel™ SD30. Mix to a...
