Eco hace alusión a la ignorancia o a la ironía que caracteriza a los laicos cuando se habla del fin del mundo. Pero en verdad esconden su obsesión respecto al tema. En más, se podría decir que hasta le temen, pero sin admitirlo. Su duda consiste en si existe alguna clase de esperanza común entre creyentes y nocreyentes. A lo que Martini responde que para él si la hay, justificando que todos viven su presente dándole un sentido y contribuyendo con él en forma responsable.
Hay mucho por hacer juntos y la esperanza no puede faltar.
En mi opinión coincido con Eco en que los no creyentes ignoran el tema pero lo creen, como también coincido con Martini cuando se refiere a los creyentes, en su lectura del...
