Reasons why parents choose homeschooling are many. Firstly, families have dissatisfaction with academic quality of public schools. “Something has changed in the schoolsfor the worse over the last 20 years. But there’s a problem with it, it is too expensive that they would never be able to afford it, so they take homeschooling. Parents also have religious and moral reasons why theychoose this alternative, they want their kids to have a better spiritual life and grow in a healthy environment; they don’t want their children to bully or be bullied and to increase their faith.There are numerous advantages for homeschooling. First of all, parents design their own curriculum, they decide which subjects their kids are going to take; they modify their educational program totheir child’s interests, natural gifts, and learning style. Balanced classes between cultural, historical and scientific subjects can ignite a child’s love of learning. Moreover, it takes less time togive a class to 2 or 3 kids than giving it to a bunch of kids yelling or waiting for the slowest student to finish.
