Hoobastank

Hoobastank (stylized as h∞bastank) is an American rock band, best known for their hits "Crawling in the Dark", "Running Away", and "The Reason". They formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California, withsinger Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen. They are signed to Island Records and have released four albums and one extended play to date.Their fourth and most recent studio album, For(N)ever, was released in January 2009. They have sold 10 million albums worldwide.

Doug Robb provided vocals for Apocalyptica'snew single release "Not Strong Enough" on January 18, 2011.
On February 15, 2011, Doug announced on Twitter that there is a new album being released, although no timeframe was offered.
In June 2011,the band went on tour in Iraq for the USO Road Tour performing for the U.S. military throughout the country.
On April 5, 2012, the band announced on Twitter that the new album's name is to be titledFight or Flight.
On May 3, 2012 the band revealed the first single "This Is Gonna Hurt"
The album will be released on July 31, 2012.
