a peaceful town called Puerto Limón.

Situated on the beautiful crystalclear waters Bonita beach, part of the exclusive Caribbean Coast.
So close to the internationalairport, only 20 minutes, and just half an hour from the
capital San José where you can find the business, commercial and entertainment
areas.
Hotel Features
All Inclusive
With All Inclusive, all of your food is included. You can eat in all the restaurants, and the
quality is exceptional. Local drinks and a selection of international drinks are also included
between. You can take advantage ofround-the-clock room service to order food, too. You'll
also have a minibar in your room, which is restocked daily and included in the cost of your
stay.
Meals
Dining is the feather in Xtra Resort Costa Ricaʼs cap. Guests have a choice of six
restaurants, and thereʼs no need for reservations in five of them, so you can eat whenever
youʼre ready. And if you want to go down a more casual route,thereʼs a beach barbecue
every lunchtime, with grilled meat, fish and salads.
The Spoon is the main restaurant, a high standard of international cuisine with helpyourself food displays and show cooking stations; the Tapaz restaurant offers a tapas-style
venue with dishes made for sharing; the Biribiri is the place for Costa Rican favourites, like
“casado” (rice and beans, meat or fish, friedplantains, and a carrot, tomato, and cabbage
salad), “plantain” (sweet fried or baked banana) and “olla de carne” (stew made with beef,
potatoes, carrots, chayote (vegetable pear), plantains and yucca); the Venezia is inspired
in a trattoria serving all the Italian classics; the Zavas offers Caribbean kitchen with dishes
cooked to perfection; and the sixth and last one the Michelin Starrestaurant, Le Moulin
Rouge, an over-18s restaurant specializing in experimental cuisine. Reservations are
required.
Gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers in most restaurants at dinner.

Swimming pool
There are five swimming pools snake their way around the grounds. They include a quiet
pool, an activity pool, an adults-only pool, with ahuge swim-up bar and Balinese daybeds
providing a touch of luxury, a pool exclusively for guests in the premium section, with pool
butler service and a childrenʼs pool thatʼs part of a sprayground featuring hoops, nets,
tipping buckets and a water slide.
Entertainment
At Xtra Resort Costa Rica,
entertainment is part of the
centrestage. That said, there are
great night-time venue:adultsonly Mojito Lounge serving 31
different types of mojito, the Roof
Garden Lounge, which hosts
nightly shows, a giant palapa
(palm shelter) complete with
suspended daybeds and adultsonly Shisha Bar.
Recreational Facilities
Surfboard, beach yoga and trips to the fully-equipped spa are just a few ways to spend
time at Xtra Resort Costa Rica. Hereʼs the full range of activities: tennis, beachvolleyball,
beach soccer, kayaking, bodyboarding, surfboarding, gym open 24hrs, yoga in a beach
palapa, spa with ocean-view rooms, one just for couples and a special bridal suite,
hydrotherapy, sauna and steam room.
For Families
For children and teens thereʼs childrenʼs club. Highlights include a Fisher Price room kitted
out with the latest toys, and activities spanning surfboard lessons andmovie screenings.
Teens get their own hangout featuring a DJ booth, a cinema screen and a pool table.
Thereʼs also a games room kitted out with a Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360.
For babies
If youʼre coming away with a baby, you can pick up a free kit when you get there, which
includes pushchairs, cots, sterilisers and baby food.
