Concept
Hotelito Desconocido “Sanctuary Reserve & Spa” is the inspiration for the birth of HOTELITO COLLECTION, a small collection of very exclusive hotels providing unique experiences. Hotelito Desconocido is a unique Spa Destination in a location blessed by nature, where year after year, ourbiologists assist our guests to save nearly 50,000 baby turtles. The “Sanctuary Reserve & Spa” is illuminated by hundreds of candles, torches, the moon and the stars, and offering all of the benefits of a complete Thalasso Spa in Mexico. Every single area of the hotel beautifully folds into nature – boasting harmonious and elegant architecture, generous spaces offering the opportunity to explore,feel and live in green luxury.

The Collection is at the forefront of cutting edge and innovative features, and Hotelito Desconocido is a pioneer in the concept of eco luxury and total respect for the environment, which is whywe are underscoring our commitment to nature by installing modern renewable energy systems and water treatment plants that will enable us to truly respect the natural sanctuary we are located in. We have wanted to go beyond that, and are now creating the Hotelito Desconocido Foundation, because our commitment also extends to the Costalegre community. Guest rooms

Hotelito Desconocido offers 27 unique suites and 3 beach villas, each individually decorated with hand crafted pieces making each room a very special place. Each roomhas its own name and personality, named after any one of the traditional Mexican items that make up the room’s décor. Each villa is built on stilts, or palafitos, and every space is generously designed, with large terraces (some of them with private pools) to enjoy spectacular views to the canals, the lagoon, and the beach; all truly fascinating environments.
