HOW TO DO BUSINESS IN THE USA?
1. GeographicalCharacteristics
The United States of America shares borders with Canada in the north and Mexico in the South, and borders with the NorthAtlantic Ocean and the North Pacific Ocean.
USA’s total extension is of 9,826,675 sq km (third largest country in the world).
USA’sPopulation: 310, 919, 261.
The climate in the USA is very diverse: mostly temperate, but tropical in Hawaii and Florida; artic in Alaska,semiarid in the great plains west of Mississippi River; and arid in the Great Basin of the southwest. Low winter temperatures in the northwestare ameliorated occasionally in January and February by warm “Chinook” winds from the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountains.
USA’s terrainfeatures consist in central plain, mountains in west, hills and low mountains in east; rugged mountains and broad river valleys inAlaska, rugged and volcanic topography in Hawaii.
Lowest point: Death Valley -86 m
Highest point: Mount McKinley 6,194 m
