6.1 Research
Given that electricity is formed by energy produced by the orderly movement of electrons and that there are several types of energy such as mechanical, heat, solar etc,we can say that we will need to apply the action in our project by using chemical energy and the action is the chemical reaction.
Electricity by chemical reaction needs a connector that convertschemical energy into electricity; in this case the driver is the lemon.
All batteries have an electrolyte which could be liquid solid or paste (lemon juice,) a positive electrode (negative wire, positivewire). The electrolyte (lemon juice) is an ionic conductor. One electrode produces electrons and the other, electrode receives by connecting the electrodes (wire) to the circuit to be fed, and thenthere is an electric current.
Between the extremes of the metals out of the electrolyte, it generates a potential difference, or voltage, which can lead to an electric current in our case the zincwhich (nails) acquires negative charge, coppers (tube) acquires positive charge. The zinc is called cathode and the copper is called anode.
By using this procedure in our project, we can say that thechemical action allows it to operate a clock.

6.2 Experiment
1. Lemon is cut in a half
2. In each of the halves of lemon we made two cuts in the rind of the lemon, at one is placed a copper tubeon the other end is placed a nail.
3. We have a cable, which with the help of an alligator clip will place one end on copper tube and the other end into the nail.
4. Our clock will have two wires,one positive which connects to the nail that is negatively charges, and the negative lead him to join the copper tube has a positive charge.
5. Cables correctly uniting the clock works and has closeda circuit.
