Hugh Michael Jackman Watson (born October 12, 1968 in Sydney, Australia) is an Australian actor of film, theater and television in Australia. As a singer, dancer and actor in musicaltheater, primarily The Boy From Oz, Jackman has won international recognition for his roles in Hollywood films. Son of Chris Jackman, an accountant and Grace Watson, his English parents were living in Australia. The paternalgreat-grandfather was Greek Jackman. Hugh is the youngest of four brothers: Ian Jackman, Sonya Ralph Jackman and Jackman. When he was eight his mother returned to England and his father took over the trainingof their brothers.
