El humano feliz (Happy Human) esun icono que se ha adoptado
como símbolo internacional del humanismo secular.

El humanismo es una actitud filosófica y ética que
hace hincapié en el valor y la agencia de los seres
humanos, individual ycolectivamente, y por lo general prefiere el pensamiento crítico y las pruebas
(racionalismo, empirismo) sobre la doctrina establecida o
la fe (fideísmo). El significado del término humanismo hafluctuado, según los movimientos intelectuales sucesivos
que se han identificado con él.[1] En general, sin embargo, el humanismo se refiere a una perspectiva que afirma alguna noción de libertad y progreso. Enlos tiempos
actuales, los movimientos humanistas están normalmente
alineados con el secularismo y hoy “humanismo” normalmente se refiere a una filosofía de vida no teísta centrada
en la agencia humana quemira a la ciencia en vez del
dogma religioso con el fin de entender el mundo.[2]
