nowing that a business model is a representation that allows us to understand how an organization creates value, let’s begin with understanding how Michael Dellconcluded that the best way of making his company success in the competitive PC’s market, was creating a kind of model based on quality and diversity of their products but mainly in the direct way ofdistributing them. All of that have made Dell developed a prestigious brand, the No2 and fastest-growing among all major computer system companies worldwide, which its own business model; whichconsists in speed of execution and minimum inventory, in direct sales to consumers over the internet. By doing this, Dell bypassed the dealer channel, selling its products directly to the customer over thephone. With this build-to-order way of doing business, Michael Dell’s company achieves to remove the reseller markup and the costs and risks of carrying large inventories. Dell’s direct model is theone many competitors want to copy and follow, because it slows costs distributions and strengthens direct customer relations. In addition; just-in-time manufacturing, products and services, aimed tospecific markets which is one of the reasons that it manages to be successful.

Since the begging Michael has had direct contact with their customers and it kept being doing this way when Michael’scompany went big clients were still their priority and in became the key to its success. The company has almost always served directly to the customer, facilitating feedback between seller and buyer.Compared to other brands Dell has always had few customers but loyal and potential ones.
