IKEA is a company of Swedish origin dedicated to generally sell furniture and decoration for the family, offering a low price and contemporary design. Being considered like one of prestigious and the innovating ones.
IKEA is property of the Kamprad family. The IKEA word is formed by the initials of Ingvar Kamprad (its founder) plus the word Elmtaryd (farm where grew) and Agunnaryd (villagewhere he grew). In 1943 was founded on the province of Småland, Sweden.
She is well-known like one of the main companies in manufacture of furniture, until the 2007 counted on 238 branches in 34 countries; the main store is located in Älmhult, Sweden
