The number of Hispanics in the United states has increased dramatically due to the immigration of other countries. When I talked to Victor Gonzalez about the problems he first had when entering theUnited States was to learn how to speak English, and that is the main problem for most of the immigrants that come to the United States. If somebody that came to the United States was young, thelanguage problem wouldn’t be a big problem for them because according to a Science Museum your brain absorbs things like a sponge when you are younger and as you get older you have other things on yourmind, keeping you from completely concentrating on other things. Also, it wouldn’t be a big problem for them to learn the language because they have the opportunity to assist school and learn it there,because at the school everything is in English, encouraging them to learn it and apply it faster to apply it with their classmates. But if the person cannot assist school then it becomes a big problembecause the person would need to find a job where English is not essential and that is very hard to find, because in every job they have an interview at first and if you cannot speak the language thanit makes it almost impossible to communicate with others. Another issue they face would be negative stereotype, as well. Some stereotypes include that every Hispanic that comes to the United States isMexican, which that is not the case at all. Also, it is said that Hispanics are either criminals and if they’re not criminals then they are lazy, as well as Hispanics are taking over the jobs. On thecontrary, Hispanics are the ones working out on the fields and doing the hard work. Not many people will work out under the sun in the middle of summer when it is one hundred and something degreesoutside for minimum wage.
