El constante uso y exposición al internet de los jóvenes ha modificado su conducta y su personalidad; esta exposición frecuente es mala para el desarrollo personal de los jóvenes en la región Arequipa.
Este tema obtiene resultados de cómo los jóvenes reaccionan frente al internet, así como la manera en queutilizan este nuevo y gran avance tecnológico que sin lugar a dudas ha venido a revolucionar la vida de los jóvenes creando en algunos cierta dependencia.

Antes de la aparición del internet, estas palabras tan comunes hoy en día para la mayoría de las personas que utilizan este gran avance, eran prácticamente desconocidas o algunas tenían el significado real de la misma. Actualmente forman partede un léxico común que cada día va en aumento conforme se desarrolla este nuevo medio de comunicación que ha llegado a acortar los ámbitos comunicativos mundiales.

En esta investigación observaremos la influencia de la internet, qué es lo que hacen cuando navegan en internet y qué ventajas o desventajas trae esta nueva tecnología.

En la actualidad elmedio de comunicación más frecuentado es la Internet, este ha traído muchos problemas en los jovenes, ya que existen redes sociales tales como: el facebook, twitter,youtube etc., en los cuales están en continuo contacto con sus amigos, Según Rosemary Duff, directora de la investigación de ChildWise.
Esta es una de las razones por la cual los jovenes de ahora ya no le dedican mucho tiempo a lalectura o a otras cosas como el deporte que son muy importantes en su desarrollo.
