SO - NEITHER
A. – AGREEMENT (ACUERDO)
The agreement with what someone says, agreement in English, is expressed
NEITHER by SO or depending on whether the sentence isaffirmative or negative:
1. - Affirmative
SO + AUXILIARY + SUBJECT
The Auxiliary has to go in the tense which expresses that agreement.
The subject vary depending on who you express agreement.Translating
this formula to Spanish would be "too."
E.g.: A: I like music (Simple Present)
B: So do I (Simple Present Assistant)
Eg: A: I went to the cinema yesterday evening (Simple Past)B: So did I (Assistant Simple Past)
Eg: A: She will get up very early tomorrow (Future with will)
B: So will I (Assistant Future)
Eg: A: I've been to USA twice (Present Perfect)B: So have we (Assistant Present Perfect)
If the phrase is a verb that is not built with an auxiliary, is used
directly and verb tense in which you expressed.
Verbs this type can be the verbto be, the verb to have got or modal verbs (can,
must, should, etc.)
E.g.: A: He is friendly
B: So is she
E.g.: A: I've got a car
B: So have they
E.g.: A: I must study Inglésmore.
B: So we must
2. - Negative
NEITHER + AUXILIARY POSITIVE + SUBJECT
If the sentence is negative NEITHER used instead of SO. His translation
