What is a disability?The disability assistance is defined as the recognition of the benefit of an economic and paying it to make the EPS to pensioners not dues-paying members, as long as they are physically or mentally disabled to temporarily play in their profession or customary occupation.

What kinds of disabilities exist?

Who recognizes the inability to paycommon origin and how they paid?
Shall be provided by the respective employers economic benefits for the three first days of incapacity caused by systemic disease, both in the public and private, and the amount will be no different at 2/3 of the salary, this is, 66%.
From the fourth day of disability and up to 180 days, the recognition and payment of disability shall be the Health PromotingCompany EPS.
In the case of workers who earn the minimum monthly wage legal force, the amount of the disability benefit for common illness must equal 100%.

What is the amount of aid awarded after the failure of common origin than 180 days?

If disability from day 90 to complete the 180 is 50% of salary, allowance payable for a maximum of 360 calendar days, if a favorable rehabilitation, alsoequal to 50% of salary.

Can you say goodbye to a worker who is absent from work without justifying the failure?
If the employee fails to report promptly to the employer of his disability nor the attesting physician orders through your EPS or ARP, could be applied the provisions of paragraph 4 of Article 60 of the Labor Code, which states that it is prohibited to workers miss work without justcause or impediment without permission of the employer, except to strike, which should leave the workplace.
