India
Himalayas and Nepal are India’s neighbors. Also, it is surrounded by Tibet, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. Its capital city is Delhi. This interestingcountry is the home of the sacred River Ganges and the majority of Himalayan foothills.
This is one of the earliest civilizations, which started to develop from c. 2600 B.C. to c. 2000 B.C.According to history, Aryans entered India c. 1500 B.C., but they found a land which was already took for an advanced civilization. They started to practice Sanskrit and the Vedic religion, variations of areligion called Hinduism. Buddhism was discovered in the 6th century B.C. and was spread throughout India.
India is a very varied and complex; as a result, it is not strange to find true Indians whoshow the realistic way to be a native and respectful Indian. They are really nice people, who truly believe in sharing happiness. Ethnically talking, Indians speak a variation of languages; differentreligions are practiced, and they have the most diverse varieties of dishes. The most amazing feature of the Indian people is their nice spirit of tolerance, give-and-take and a mix of differentcultures that are easily liken to a garden of flowers, various colors and shapes are combined, but they still maintain their unique identity, lend harmony, love and beauty to the country. 18 languages areofficially spoken in India. Each language has a different amount of speakers; for instance, Hindu has 250 million speakers.
Holi - Festival of Colors
Holi is qualified as one of the biggest Hindufestivals. It celebrates the spirit of life which is happiness. This festival consists in taking away bad memories and enjoys life together with friends and relatives, having fun at the same time....
