India
India is a country located in Asia. Far far away from Spain, It’s very big country that it is the seventh-largest country by area in the world and the second-most populous countryafter china with over 1.3 billion people. India became an independent nation in 15th august of 1947.
It was divided by 24 states but now have 28 states. The capital of India is New Delhi butthe most famous city is Mumbai or Bombay, is located in the south of the country and it’s the most populous city. In Mumbai is where are the bollywood film made.
But I belong to Punjab; it’sthe most agriculturist state, located in the north, very near to New Delhi.
Languages:
The principal languages in India are Hindi and English.41 % of population spoke Hindi. The secondarylanguages are more than 80 spoken in every different state or city. For example in Punjab is spoken Punjabi, in Bengal, Bengali.
The places to visit in India:
-Taj Mahal: is a white marblemausoleum located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife. It’s one of the most famous place in world.
-Golden Temple: is a churchof Sikhs located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. It was built in the 16th Century. The best part golden temple is that the central part of temple is constructed by gold.
-Red Fort:is a fort located in Delhi. Was built in 17th century by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and it’s where he used to live.
The festivals:
-Deepawali: is the festival of lights and its a verytraditional festival, is a 5 days celebrated every year between October and November. It’s a Hindus festival celebrated all over the country.
-Holi: is a festival of colours. It’s celebrated mostlyin march and it base on throws coloured powder at each other, and celebrate wildly.
In the end I would say if anyone go to visit India you will learn and enjoy a lot, so visit India.
