GEOGRAPHY:
The Republic of Argentina is located in the South West. Its location in South America, allows an adequate link within the regional framework. It is bordered on the north by Bolivia and Paraguay, and at its extreme the rivers Grande de San Juan and Mojinete, in the province of Jujuy. And in thesouth to Chile and the Atlantic Ocean, and west, with Brazil, Uruguay.
The part of the country between the meridians 25 degrees and 74 degrees west longitude south of 60 degrees south is Antarctica Argentina.
It has a great diversity of landscapes with plateaus and mountainous terrain with plains, ice fields and arid, steppe vegetation and rivers or lake areas.

ENVIRONMENT:
HYDROGRAPHY:River basin of silver is the largest in the country. It consists of the sub-basins of the Paraná, Paraguay and Uruguay.
WEATHER ALONG THE YEAR: warm, moderate, arid and cold. Tierra del Fuego, shared with Chile is a cold region having frequent rain and snow.
Natural resources: fertile plains of the pampas, lead, zinc, tin, copper, iron, manganese, oil and uranium.
