One of things that every teenager like to do is having fun with his or her friends, dance and listen to music they like. And if it’s in another country where you can meet people from every part of the world, better. The place where you can find all these factors is in a festival. Between all the festivals that have place around the world, the most famous one is undoubtlyTomorrowland.

Tomorrowland is an electronic and dance music festival celebreted every year since 2005 in Boom, Belgium. This little town is located in the region of Flanders and to arrive there you can hire a flight provided by the organizers which goes directly from each country to Belgium. For example, people from Spain took the flight in Barcelona, italians took it in Rome and so on. However, youcan also buy a flight on your own, like Ryanair which would cost around 60 €.

To buy the tickets, you have different options. On one side we have Tomorrowland pass (regular) which offers regular access to the festival during the 3 days, it costs 135 €. On the other side, Tomorrowland pass (comfort) offers access to the festival + a VIP pass to some areas. Here you can enjoy a better view andservice but parking, camping and lockers aren’t included. It costs around 198 €. None of these tickets include lodging so you must look for an hotel outside the festival.
Another option is ”Dreamville pass” this one includes access to Dreamville, the camping inside the enclosure. More or less 35000 people stay there and they sleep in tents. There are also good instalations such as bbq area, alittle market where you can buy souvenirs and the organizers ensure that the toilets and showers are in good conditions. On one hand, it is the perfect place to meet new people and make friends from 75 different countries, because they live there during three days and you don’t have to travel everyday from the hotel to the festival, what is very comfortable too; but in the other hand, the queues youhave to wait for the shower or the toilet are very long. In adittion, the price is 50 € more expensive.
The last option is Boozebag, this ticket contains a certain number of coins to buy food and drinks, and you can also stay in Dreamville. It costs around 300 €.
The required age to go is 18 years old but people who become 18 that year are alowed to go. Ticket reservation and buying a ticket forone artist isn’t possible, you have to buy it for the whole day. An example of how big is the expectation for Tomorrowland is that 180.000 tickets were sold in less than an hour.

An important part of the festival is the decoration, one of it’s most known characteristics, because of its originality. All the decoration is developed outdoors and in a natural enviroment. It is inspired in a fairytale but the theme changes every year. To create this atmosphere, workers start to build the scenaries many months before the festival starts. Apart from this, there are thousands of pieces of atrezzo, flowers, fountains and a lot of fantastic characters which make this experience something much bigger than a simple festival.

But above all this, in a festival the most important thing is music.As we have said before, Tomorrowland is an electronic music festival and therefore, some of the best Djs of all the world meet there every year to play their music. Since its inaguration in 2005 more than a hundred artists have participate in Tomorrowland and some of these DJs are known worlwide, such as Steve Aoki, David Guetta or Skrillex. There are 10 different areas in the enclosure, so youcan choose between a wide range of artists and see the performance of the one you like most.

Tomorrowland takes place in Schorre, a natural area. You can take advantage of this trip to visit the sorroundings and discover landscapes that you can’t see in your country.
