Client Software Upgrade Guide for


Lenel OnGuard Clients

These changes need to be made on an HP PC COE client machine.

Part 1 of 4: Uninstall the Previous Version


1. On the computer to be upgraded
a.Click Start, and then click Control Panel
b. Click Add or Remove Programs
c. Locate and Select OnGuard 2006 Enterprise and click Remove

2. Follow the onscreeninstructions to complete the uninstall.
3. Reboot the computer manually.


Part 2 of 4: Obtain the new version


1. Obtain the destination of the new version installation files
a. In thedestination where the install files is located, find this folder, 6.3.249 Install
2. Open the folder 6.3.249 Install and double click on setup.exe
